Setting Up Your Wallet
Once Trezor Bridge is installed, the Trezor Wallet interface will open automatically.
Click on “Create a new wallet” to start the setup process.
Creating a PIN
You will be prompted to set up a PIN for your Trezor device. This PIN is essential for accessing your wallet and confirming transactions.
Choose a strong and unique PIN to enhance your wallet's security.
Backing Up Your Recovery Seed
Trezor will generate a recovery seed (a series of 12 or 24 words) crucial for recovering your wallet if the device is lost or damaged.
Carefully write down the seed words on the provided recovery seed card and store it in a secure location. Never share your recovery seed with anyone and avoid storing it digitally.
Confirming Your Recovery Seed
After writing down your recovery seed, you will be asked to confirm it by selecting the words in the correct order. This step ensures you have correctly noted down the seed phrase.
Adding Cryptocurrencies to Your Wallet
Once the setup process is complete, you can start adding cryptocurrencies to your Trezor wallet.
Use the Trezor Wallet interface to manage your assets, send and receive funds, and monitor your portfolio.
